Louis Ramey has been living, loving and performing stand-up comedy over the past 20 years. His comic talent has plucked him from this hometown of Atlanta, Georgia and taken him all around the world, he has lived in Grand Cayman, New York and the UK, and he has toured with the likes of Whitney Houston, Donna Summer and Ray Charles. He has been all over TV with many appearances in the US, Canada and abroad. He was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and has appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, TBS Presents: A very Funny Festival: Just for laughs and is currently hosting TV Land prime Movie Block’s, and is filming ‘Cleared for Standup’ for the Travel Channel.
Ken Evans is a name synonymous with comedy, with over 30 years of experience. He commands every stage he appears on and his high energy is contagious. He has performed in every venue possible, from high school graduations, to cruise ships, comedy clubs in New York, LA and the Caribbean and corporate events. He has also done his fair share of huge fundraisers on the national stage. Being a cancer survivor himself, he’s the only comic to be chosen three times to perform at the annual prestigious “Laugh for the Cure” fundraiser and was also the main speaker for 1200 cancer survivors at the Henry Ford Theater in Detroit. He has also done numerous TV appearances, including NBC’s “Ed”, Caroline’s Comedy Hour, SHOWTIME, “Law & Order,” and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.”
Geechy Guy is a comedian from Michigan who is known for his appearances on Star search and NBC’s America’s Got Talent. He coined the term “joke grenades” to describe jokes that trigger a delayed audience reaction. He set a record in August 1993 when he told 676 jokes in one hour to land himself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records, beating such comedians as Ray Romano and others. In the 80’s Geech finished in the top 10 out of 500 comics two years in a row at the prestigious Comedy Competition in San Francisco. He has worked in LA, on cruise ships and has starred in his own shows on TV and stage including “The Geechy Guy Happy Hour” which ran for three years and his original three-man comedy play “The Dirty Joke Show”.
Kristin Lindner approaches her successful stand-up career the same way she does her life – with unrepentant enthusiasm. The Texas native and working mother provides an amusing and sardonic outlook to life and the joys of marriage and motherhood. She channels the weight of emotion, disappointments, untapped creativity and life altering experiences and is known for being one of the funniest, most pragmatic voices of modern, adorably flustered femininity. She was a recent finalist in Houston’s Funniest Person contest and she’s a favorite at The Comedy Showcase and on Nickelodean’s NickMom’s Night Out.
Rodney Laney born and raised in Paterson New Jersey, has always been a comedian. Even as a toddler, he would entertain at family gatherings, most of the time against his will. Years of therapy have helped him recover from these traumatic times. Rodney Laney has completed pilots for Comedy Central, MTV, and A&E. He has been seen on HBO, FOX News Channel’s Red Eye, The Late Late Show on CBS, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and comedy.tv on the HD channel. He has appeared at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival Montreal and LOL Lounge TBS Presents A Very Funny Festival: Just for Laughs Chicago.
Slade Ham from Houston and averaging more than 200 shows a year, has performed in forty-seven countries on six different continents over the last seventeen years. Whether in Amsterdam, Toronto, or Texas, he cuts right to the heart of what makes the audience tick. His passions lie on the road, raveling the world and collecting stories. A seasoned headliner across the United States, he is a regular on the nationally sydnicated Bob & Tom Show and headlines The Whiskey Brothers special on Amazon, and is featured prominently in Jordan Brady’s I Am Battle Comic. Slade has also been seen at Just for Laughs, was a staff writer for the African Film Critics Awards, and most recently appeared on A&E’s Flipped Off alongside Survivor’s Russel Hantz.
Wali Collins is one of New York City’s top comedians. He started out working on a show for Comedy Central called “Stand-up Stand-up”. He hosted the largest, funniest, most varied collection of stand-up comedians in the world. One of his greatest achievements was hosting an event featuring for First Lady Michelle Obama. The show went so well he was asked to host another event this time featuring both Presidents Bush and Obama. He is a regular at all of the main stream Comedy clubs in the United States and even headlines and tours at Comedy clubs in Europe and Asia. His television credits include NBC, CBS, FOX, HBO, ABC’, VH1, Comedy Central, Netflix and Hulu. Joby Saad aka the village Idiot, has headlined all the top Comedy Clubs and has been a regular guest on Nashville Networks Ralph Emery, Crook and Chase and many others. In 2006 he appeared on Warner brothers “Thou Shalt Laugh” starring Patricia Heaton from “Everybody loves Raymond” which became the highest selling comedy DVD within its genre. Known for his expressive, rubbery face, makes sense that he’s a big fan of physical comedians such as Steve Martin, Jim Carrey, and Tim Conway. Joby was chosen out of hundreds of comedians to be featured on a netflix television series “Stand Up Neurotica” and is a frequent guest on the radio syndicated “Daren Streblow Comedy Show” on I-heart Radio.
Billy D Washington was described as “Low-key intensity and dead on humor” by the Denver Post. His clever but quirky approach combined with his undeniable skill as a pianist has made him a formidable force in the world of stand-up comedy. In 2008 he was identified as one of the most diverse comedians in America by the NBC stand-up for diversity initiative, and is the creator of the critically acclaimed S.E.L.L.O.U.T. Comedy Tour, a group of talented black comedians who challenge America to resolve racial differences one joke at a time. He toured his one-man show entitled, “Hue-more, Comedy in Living Color” and has appeared on Montreal Comedy Festival, BET, VH-1, Def Comedy Jam, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Bob and Tom Radio.
Tim Homayoon started his comedy career as a senior in high school and has never looked back. 25+ years, over 5,000 performances and with over 500,000 Youtube video views, he is now headlining clubs and colleges throughout the U.S. and Canada. Tim has appeared on MTV, NBC, Comedy Central, on the CBS Show ‘The Good Wife,’ NBC’s ‘666 Park Ave’ as well as written for Saturday Night Live’s ‘Weekend Update.’ When not headlining on the road, Tim is a regular at Carolines on Broadway, Stand-Up NY, Laugh Factory, the Improv and even the world famous Apollo Theater, just to a name a few. Tim has an eclectic style mixing wild characters, physical comedy and audience interaction.
Pat Godwin is one of the most clever comedians and prolific, award-winning comedy songwriters in the business. Pat first got national airplay with the holiday classic he crafted with his brothers James and Jack called, “Let’s Put Christ Back in Christmas” from the album Reindeer Games. He’s appeared on every top morning show you can think of, worked for 6 years as a part of Philadelphia’s Morning Zoo, 3 years for The Bob & Tom Show, and was a frequent guest and contributor to both Howard Stern’s radio and TV shows. He was featured on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and heavily across nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Show. His style has an edge, with a mix of quirky, personal musings and off-the-cuff remarks, Godwin can segue in to any one of his songs, performed in an endless array of musical styles.
Jason Russel used to watch Eddie Murphy And Richard Pryor and could recite their lines throughout the whole show. He says, “I remember watching Jim Carry on Evening At The Improv and thinking how cool he was and saying to myself how I would love to be a comedian.” Jason’s comedy style is silly, full of different characters and unforgettable facial expressions. His strong personality and explosive energy lets audiences know right from the start that this is going to be a ride. He has been seen in a documentary called “Crossing the lines” about interracial comedians and has had appearances across other TV shows as well.
Joey Vega born in New York City, started his comedy, acting and writing career on a dare. He has used his acting skills in feature films and episodic TV. He has acted along side Tom Hanks, Sally Field, Ed Norton, John Tuturro, Matt Damon, and many others. Joey has also helped tweak stand-up material for Chris Rock, and was a staff writer for George Lopez’ Late night talk show, “Lopez Tonight”. He has also toured with Jennifer Lopez and Chris Rock. He was the first Latino to host his own nationally syndicated variety show, “The Latin Connection”.
Kevin Downey Jr is a comedian, columnist, and has been a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent. He can be heard on The Bob and Tom Show, Sirius and XM Satellite radio regularly. He’s been on Comedy Central, What Not to Wear, and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy where he got a much needed haircut. Kevin appears at the Comedy Stop at the Trop in Las Vegas at least four times per year. He has an ever-growing fan base that comes to see him again and again. Melvin George is “The King of Smooth!” Tall, lean, bespectacled and armed with a brazen sense of “cool,” Melvin made his comedy debut in his hometown of Boston and soon after moved on to a successful career in New York City. A trained actor and director he has appeared on HBO, Showtime, and on several Fox and A&E shows. Over the years, Melvin has been nominated for several National Campus Entertainment Awards for comedy among colleges and has appeared in concert with such celebrated artists as Aretha Franklin; Chaka Khan; Diana Ross, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and Isaac Hayes to name a few.
Erin Jackson can be seen nightly in many of New York City’s top comedy clubs and recently made her late-night television debut on “CONAN”. She was a semi-finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and has also performed her stand-up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, Comedy Central’s “Live At Gotham”, AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live”, OWN’s “Wands Sykes Presents Herlarious”, and TV Guide Network;s “Standup in Stilettos”. Erin co-hosted three seasons of “Exhale”, a panel talk series on the ASPIRE television network, and has appeared on MSNBC, NFL Network, truTV, VH-1 and TV Guide Network as a panelist on numerous spots and pop-culture shows.
